Film Shoot

This past Friday we shot our live BG plate. Our light rig on set involved two colored lights to back light our can as well as a hand held light to act as our key.

We also found old brittle wood planks to sit our product on so we have a place holder and reference for the cg table. We decided to make the entire foreground cg since it will streamline the process of integrating our live Bg plate while not taking away from the effect at the same time.

HDRI

For the update on the HDRI, we approached this by taking multiple pictures of a chrome ball at multipple exposures. I then took the photos into Photoshop and combined them into a single Hdri image.

There is an issue with a blemish on the hdri, but as far as we can tell it is not affecting the quality of the lighting.
